Adobe Raw 5.7 & iMac

Hi all,

I've downloaded ver 5.7 but can't get it to install on my Mac. I run the setup.dng file. It just says "unable to install" and asks me to hit cancel.

I'm now buggered, as I run LR2, and have just upgraded to a 7D and the application thinks my files are corrupt.

Anyone have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong ?

If you upgrade to Lightroom 2.7 then you should be able to use the 7D files. It's a free upgrade for Lightroom 2 users

Have you downloaded the Photoshop ACR 5.7 upgrade. This only works for Photoshop not Lightroom. You need the latest version of Lightroom as the ACR engine is incorporated within the program and is not up datable by using the Photoshop ACR update

There is no such thing as ACR for Lightroom. ACR is the raw processing plug-in for Photoshop and Lightroom uses it's own raw processing engine, which is built-in.
