Adobe RGB Monitor for Photo Editing and Gaming

Hi folks. I'm thinking of buying a new monitor, the one I have is six years old and only has 97% sRGB coverage (Iiyama Prolite X2377HDS IPS 23"). It's served me well but feel I need Adobe RGB coverage, I'm conscious that the photo competitions I enter mostly require images supplied in the Adobe RGB colour space and I can't see the full colours of the images I'm providing. As well as photo editing I like to do some sim racing on the PC, mainly Project Cars 2. I've got a Gigabyte GeForce 1060GB 6GB - are you able to recommend a decent 27" screen that won't break the bank? Ideally less than £500 but I'd look at more expensive models if there's big advantages.

Thanks, the conclusion from that is the LG27UK650 is the best but it doesn't cover Adobe RGB. I nearly went ahead and ordered but on reflection still feel I'd benefit from a wide gamut screen. If I've had success in competitions some colours have looked quite different in the award books to how they were on my screen. I'd love to hear what people here use, I suppose the gaming element is the response times and refresh rates.

Look for something with 120 or more refresh rate for gaming, avoid 60 IMO.

The following caught my eye the other day but I've not checked out the colour space yet;

Thanks, apparently it's 100%sRGB and 89% Adobe RGB (https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/lg-32gk850f/). Looks pretty good but the resolution might be a bit low for it's size.

So far I'm thinking of going for the Dell mentioned above, unless anyone has anymore suggestions?

I got mine from laptops direct, they were the cheapest by far, only £476 inclusive.
Seems the newer models 2717 / 2718 are cheaper.... but are they as good ?????

Just to report back - I ended up with two Dell UP2716D screens at work (life can be strange how it works!) which means I can assess them before taking the plunge at home.

I'm impressed with the screens, they have a beautifully crisp quality and very accurate colour straight out of the box, and I've since calibrated them with a Spyder 5. I haven't had them long but what I can say is, my images which were edited in the Adobe RGB colour space on a 97% sRGB screen still look correct with the extra colours available.

My first impressions are that while these screens are great, a 100% sRGB screen is still perfectly acceptable for photo editing, it's all very well looking at a graph but I haven't seen the noticeable differences I was expecting. I'm now thinking for home I'd look for a 4k 100% sRGB screen with a quicker response rate...
