Hi all,

Just wonder if any one is able to comment on Advent as a brand? Just bought the above model couple of days ago from PC world and have started having start up problems. Get to that blue screen where it says window has stopped. Any clues?

I am tempted to return this back and get a HP. The only reason I got this was *** it had i5 compared to i3 on HP? Does this matter a great deal for basic photo editing?

Please advise.

I use an Advent Gaming laptop 6555, these are actually made by MSI who are a reasonable laptop manufacturer

Im very happy with it and at the time offered far more value for money than any mainstream competitor

Thanks Stephen. Unfortunately, had to returm mine back. Got an Acer now. Hard disk malfunction on the third day apparently. Will be staying very clear of Advent and buggers at PC world
