Hi All

I have just bought a D100, its well used but in good nick, but its got no memory card.

Ideally i'd like to hold 250+ ish jpeg shots on the card.

Can anyone give me some advice on what to buy?

Thanks to anyone who can give me some good sensible advice.

You will find that the D100 doesn't write very fast, so there is no point in purchasing a fast card. I have found that there is no noticeable difference in write speed between my 2GB Integral i-Pro 100x card's and my Sandisk Extreme IV 4GB card (does make a big difference in the d300 though!)

With the 2GB card you can get 206 uncompressed RAW's, or a few more if you use compressed mode (but it does take forever to write them to the card). As for JPG's you get 610 at "Fine", 1100 at "Normal" or 2300 on "Basic" setting, all 6 megapixel.

Hope that helps! (y)
