I am going to buy a wide angle lens for my Nikon D90 and would appreciate some advice on these lens please. Tamron AF 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 and Sigma 10-20 f/4.5.6 EX DC HSM.
Try looking at the 11-16 tokina too. If you get the chance try each (hire them perhaps) to see which you prefer and which gives you want you want/need.
Lenses for hire might do them at a reasonable price for a day or two hire..?
Oh yeah - pics on flickr - some are using the 11-16
Tokina 12-24mm f/4 is a cracker - sharp as a tack, awesome build quality and cheap for what you get, especialy used (£250-£300).... just traded mine for a Sigma 14mm with Taz; I wasn't using the zoom much and I already have a Nikon 12-24mm
