great selection but i'd go with #2! sharp as a pin... great DOF. go for it.

Thanks for the comments :) The slideshow should be working now as well, I always forget to change the permissions!

I was thinking of using #2 as well for the reasons you said, I also shot that through glass so was very pleased with it.

I like the lioness as well

Depends on the nature of the competition, but everyone loves a meerkat and #1 is quite comical.

#2 caught my eye and made me scroll back. It draws the eye. Perhaps it's the focus and intensity on the hyena's face with the furrowed brow...

The only rule for the competition is that the photo has to be taken within their zoo. There are three categories; kids, teens and adults. You can enter more than one photo but as it's £3.50 a time I'm just going to enter one.

The photographer from their local paper chooses the winners so it's someone who has an eye for photography. The Meerkats are great, love watching them, same with the Lemurs (1st photo) but I have a feeling alot of others may choose them as well.

I've more or less decided to enter this photo now, might do abit more PP with it first. It's also a type of cat called a Fossa, not Hyena :)

#2 it is then, I've done some more PP to it but this is what I'm going to send in :)
