The sun is so strong out here that black and white birds are just difficult for me to get "right" - plus getting near to them is not easy
I see these every year in the same area , (of the particular beach - which is usually deserted) and in the sand dunes, but this year there seems to be less than previous years - no shortage of oysters, they are on the menu most days and Knysna is famous for it's Oyster Festival
(I also saw a Fish Eagle today but just could not get a shot - maybe next week!!)
