A wild one, captured in the Pyrenees in August, after a lengthy stalk (c. 2.5 hours), much to the frustration of my walking companions!

Fabulous composition but I think it could use a bit more sharpening to get those eyes crystal clear. The 2.5 hours was worth it imo.

As suggested, a slightly sharper version...

What was amazing about them in the wild was how well they blended with their surroundings, they were really well camouflaged..
