Hi all,

Has anyone got experience of using an aftermarket remote shutter release MC-DC2 such as this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B019XRLZWW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zmzCCbX9JNT84

I ask because the official one is just a button whereas these have more features / options and are back-lit.

Not a lot of money to try it out, but just wondering if anyone has had any experience before I do?

Thanks!

The only issue is if you don't use it regularly you will forget how to, they aren't very intuitive.
Usually they don't turn off so if unused for a while best take battery out.

Thanks guys. Noted re the intuition and interesting re the battery!

Yongnuo MC36b takes 2x AAA batteries. this has a round pin connector for the Nikon d810
