I'm scanning some 35mm Agfa XR 100, using an Epson V750, and Silverfast. There's no setting for this film type, so I'm using Agfa Vista 100. Is there any other film stock that someone knows is closer to XR100? Thanks!
 
Is there a lock film base option like there is in Vuescan?
Scan a clear bit of the film and use that as your film preset if you are struggling to get rid of the cast.
 
Nice idea. Haven't found that option, but it has lots of features, so maybe.

Not got a problem with cast as far as I can see. Just wanted to reduce any post-scan processing to a minimum.
 
Just to follow up on the colour cast settings in Silverfast, it has an auto or manual adjust option, but I cannot see anything directly equivalent to Vuecan's lock film base option (which seems like it would be be very handy).
