Nice idea for the theme and great perspective on the sign/house.
 
Definitely interesting structures, well done getting it almost perfectly symmetrical as its very difficult from what I have found in the past.

Agreed, it's hard to get the shot central and symmetrical. Well done - works nicely in mono.

Crop and rotate in Lightroom …. Thanks all, unusually it was the shot i planned to take that made it to the finished product.

The Hudson Eight should have had a Straight 8 engine, but the owner says the engine is too expensive to rebuild so the previous owner put a diesel lump under the "hood" instead.

Today's pictures taken at the Goodwood Breakfast Club. This sign is at the entry to the Start/Finish Straight so maybe the best fit to theme?
 
Triumph, with the body work seams on the outside, never the less I loved them as a kid, oh and the Stag what a car.

Classic Triumphs. The Stag would not qualify of course with a V8 but still desirable.
 
Being a car numpty I wouldn't have a clue but will take your word for it! Nice shot though... interesting pov.
 
Empty - good use of DOF
Structure - the ideal subject for the theme
Straight - forget the engine those pipes tick the box on their own!
 
Structure - great angle, and I think the weather works very well for the minimalist look
Straight & Bent are both great takes for the themes, although I'll add to still not having a clue what the tubes are for!

Not sure if this helps, but https://www.iracroft.co.uk/ https://www.iracroft.co.uk/capabilities/forming/tube-bending/ we're bending steel tubes to fit to JCB and Caterpillar machines, mainly for the hydraulic circuity which powers the digging arms & shovels, steering, etc, The ones in the shot are for a Loadall machine, I've properly messed around with the colours as they have a silver coloured passivate finish, but I liked the result and took away the distracting background. Too much information ?
