Inspired by the recent shots of Salford Quays at night I decided to take a walk around the docks. I could have done with getting out a touch earlier as the dark sky doesn't offer much interest. I was in a bit of a rush and it was absolutely freezing but pretty pleased how they came out...

Cheers.

Love the sky in the first one, think it could do with more in, but maybe that's my opinion.

Last one's nice but looks a little wonky, although I suspect that is to do with the pavement?

All in all a nice set, thanks for sharing.

A nice variety of views, all attractive, but agree that except the first, more sky detail is needed , hope you go back for more ( when it's not so cold;) )

Thank you very much for the comments folks. Hopefully heading back out to town tomorrow night (with a thicker coat haha). Will post results ASAP.

Hi Alex,

Really nice set of images. I like #2 The Old Pump House but they are all great photographs. Hope to visit Liverpool in the next 7-14 days. Albert Dock and Matthew Street are at the top of my list.

Nice work (y)

Nick

Thanks Nick. May I suggest a trip to the two cathedrals and a visit to Antony Gormley's "Another Place" at Crosby beach, if you get a chance on your visit!

Finally got around to sorting a few more pictures of Liverpool taken a few weeks later, this time away from the docks. Thought I'd post them here instead of starting a new thread:

Nice work buddy.

I love the big wheel image, I just wish the building didn't have that horrible sign on it!

Image 4 is also a favourite for me, it looks so proud and powerful in your image.

Really like the first, bet that would look great printed large on your wall.

Thanks for the comments!

Jeff - I bet parts would look really different if you came back now.

Paul - I went with the missus, more for company than a minder!
