awesome snake, but is there not some way you could show how vibrant they are in the shot, it just seems too dark. Nothing wrong with sharpness etc but, well, they would suit a "normal" royal better in that light?

Lovely snake mate..I think the main subject could be a tad brighter though and still retain the black background.

I think the first and the last are a little dark. But the photos in the middle are awesome. The colours on that snake are beaut, it looks real healthy

the snake looks sooo much brighter, despite the same dark background, that was what I meant. If only I could take shots to your standard I would be more than happy
