Alternative lens hood for canon 70-200f4L ?

Does anybody know of an alternative to the standard ET74 please?

I'm having trouble getting the lens into my existing bags, and while staring at it realised the hood reversed on the end is a big lump not at all as convenient as the cheap cheerful foldy screw-on rubber hoods I've always used previously

BUT I'm using the lens on a 400d with small sensor, so I suspect I should be using a narrower hood anyway

anybody got any thoughts?

cheers, its the sort of thing I am thinking of, I know they're out there as I have an assortment with 58mm thread, similar ones available even at jessops, but what I am really wondering is if there is one with an optimum length & diameter for the hood part of it (I know its 67mm diameter thread) to suit the optics of this lens on a crop sensor body.
