American birds in the snow

Recently bought a 55-200 zoom for my D300, and I've been trying to get some bird shots, so all advice is really welcomed Some of these were shot during a snow storm, some after it.
I'm finding birds the hardest thing,I've tried to photograph

1 Red Cardinal

2 White breasted Nuthatch

3 Red-bellied Woodpecker

4 Dark Eyed Junco

5 Carolina Chickadee

6 Tufted Titmouse

You have some nice shots there, though the Cardinal is the worst presumably down to the snow. The Nuthatch is the best shot I think.

Thats a good set, the cardinal is let down by what appears to be a slow shutter speed but the rest are fine, while the fence has worked well as a perch it might be worth having a look for something more natural.
