Mantua is a wonderful Italian city in Northern Italy, not far from where I live, It is surrounded by a lake, and contains many historical buildings. I have photographed the main monuments in the past , but the minor monuments are interesting too, and less crowded. Mantua is starting to get more popular and risks becoming overcrowded like some of the more famous Italian "Art" cities. It took quite a bit of patience to get "people free" shots here.
Here are some pictures of the Duomo, which lives in the shadow of the more famous S Andrea. It is in the Mannerist style, at the junction between the Renaissance and Baroque.
Shot hand held on a Z7 with 24PC, 24-200 and 14-30 zoom
