I brought a 24-70 2.8 Sigma a little over a week ago now and haven't used it....until today!

These are some shots from Chelmsford ARU....

Looking good AJ, I like the first and last more than the other 2.

number 3 could do with rotating a little so the side is straight.

Nice shots - the one with the grass etc. in doesn't do much for me, but the others have nice colours and seem well exposed.

Pleased with the Sigma?

Yes very chuffed with it.....I brought it to be a standard zoom (obviously) but yesterday it probably was a little long for my liking. Purchase of the 10-20 should fix this though!

Seems to produce nice colours...

I agree with the shot of the grass etc...was trying to get a sense of converging lines but the grass/person/white post/paving ruin it somehow.....the shot probably just isn't there to be taken..

I think that shot needs the person and the post removing, straightening, then a touch of Vignetting to draw the eye in...I reckon it's there, but needs work!
