Hi

A few weeks ago I followed the advice of the forum and bought my first bag - Lowepro Backpack, and very good it is too.

Only thing is, on a recent holiday I found it was quite a performance if I wanted to just take the odd picture. I alway feel that if I wanted to take a picture quickly, there was a chance I would miss it.

Anyone know the answer? to my mind choices are get used to it or buy a smaller
day bag. If that's the answer, any recommendations

Thanks

Would have to be the Lowepro Slingshot then. They do 3 versions; the 100,200 and 300. 300 being the largest.

Probably one of the easiest bags to get quick access to your camera.

Crumpler XXL maybe?

I'm thinking of getting the Lowepro Fastpack 100. It has side access, similar to the slingshot, but has the added advantage of normal rucksack straps to reduce the load on the neck, and more space in the top compartment for waterproof, sandwiches etc. It's also very narrow, and so I feel more suited to a female. I presume you are one with a name like lily, but can't be sure.
