Another crop of Cetti's Warbler

Pleased to hear my first shot was a Cetti's, here's one more tight crop of the little guy.

Well congrats on you getting the shots Steve Both are looking a tad soft though, hard to comment too much as exif is missing so I am guessing it is a large crop :shrug: if that is the case maybe try cropping less and leave some pixels in there

Heard one of these today at Rainham Marshes RSPB site but couldn't see him. 5 minutes later another togger said he had seen it. Damn.

Yes they are both quite large crops, the top pic has some USM applied, I have been concerned my Sigma 150-500 is always a bit soft, they were both hand held in a hurry so I'm tending to blame the photographer rather than the lens. taken at 1/200 f8 iso 400 I think. Far from ideal but I can't afford a Canon 500mm f4......yet
