I've been told in another of my threads that you can get sigma prime lenses in 19mm and 30mm..now as I am a total newbie to photography..what are these lenses best at....and what are prime lenses for really as you get lenses that cover Huge ranges???I'm also looking for a good lens for taking pictures say at a distance of between 4-12 foot of my wife and also our two Bengal cats!!
