OK, still have got some birthday money to spend. I have gift vouchers left to spend in a nearby photography store, but not sure what the next best investment would be.

This is what I have right now:

Canon 7D
24-70 f:2.8
50mm f:1.8
Speedlite 430EX
Manfrotto tripod (hardly used)

Simple UV filters (getting other ones seems pointless, given the possibilities of PS and LR)

PSE
Lightroom 3 beta installed

The following are on my "should get" list:

Battery grip
Additional battery
Additional external HD. I have one of 1.5TB right now (on my pc, I only have 80GB)

That would about spend my budget.

Now, this is where I need advice. I could also swap some for Lightroom 2 but that seems pointless since LR3 is just around the corner, and by the time my beta version runs out, I am pretty sure, I can convince hubby I need to purchase the program

Or, I could swap the HB for a strobist portrait kit:

Ah, about 350 euro. Hadn't included it, since prices in Belgium are different compared to UK. So, that's why I translated it into stuff

Jep most stuff is more expensive, as the GBP is weak compared to Euro. Anyway, the vouchers are from just the one store, so unfortunately no choice there.
