Another Squirrel

Shot quite a few of these.. which I will post up in time... but would like comments on this one in regards of sharpness in particular. Tried something new and i never can see if an image is sharp or not, especially around the eyes. So.. please... c+c.... sharp or not sharp ???? xxx

the tree, eye and tail look sharp to my feeble eyes
parts of the body aren't
but I suspect very shallow DOF

and the little blighters don't sit still!

Thank you mmcp.... yes it was very shallow dof... only on 5.6. As long as the main things are sharp.. such as the face area.. i am a happy bunny... or should I say happy squirrel lol. xxx

I'm going to have to go against the grain here & say that it does look slightly OOF to my eyes - not sure where focus is though as no area of the image looks much sharper than the rest (forearm does look a tiny bit sharper though after much looking) :shrug:

Well.. at the time I did focus on the eyes... but he was moving about a lot lol. xx

i would be very happy with this shot, the branch and his leggies/arms are in focus and his head looks in focus to me, body is abit oof

I like the fact that the background is uncluttered. All in all nice shot but being a scot I am more used to seeing the Reds. We still have them in our area -so far
