Yes
I have a SunPak GX14 flash, its old but will it work on a PT-04?

As I know that old flashes have higher voltages will it screw my trigger?

I THINK that the flash sync voltage is 140v....

The trigger voltage of your SunPak GX14 is 140-170 volts, I think with the likes of the set up you have it needs to be under 12 volts. From memory the older Cactus V2 (not V2s) models worked with higher voltage flashguns, but I'm not 100% sure - no doubt someone else will be able to correct me if I'm wrong :)

So it would just not work or would it go boom?

I think you need the V2 model triggers which handle higher voltages, not the V2s. It explains it better on the Gadget Infinity website.
