Another Try

When I posted this pic previously several of you had issue with the colour (me too, actually) so I thought I'd try again. The other issue, composition, can't be changed/fixed, and is subjective anyway. The original can be seen here.

Here is the new version (my FIRST attempt ever at using LightRoom)

Just cutting through the eye doesn't help. It should either be all there or not, for me. It's a shame the entire shot isn't a bit lower on the subjects, so missing out the ear at the top, but catching the eye at the bottom.

I can see the feel you are going for, almost "sensual"? Colour for me isnt working.

I'm working on the colour. . .I am brand new to LightRoom. Cropping the half-eye out is an *excellent* idea, since I can't "uncrop" (this is how the picture was framed in camera). I just love the shot so much I am determined to get something out of it.
