Another weekend, another Hillclimb

Went to Werrington Park, near Launceston for a bit more practice. Comments welcome.

I like #'s 1 & 2 I was wondering what the dark rectangles were, I think they are fenceposts maybe ?

I am going to Barbon Hillclimb next weekend, can't wait as I am inside the fence for a change !

Yeah, it's the fence on the far side of the track. I've not done any processing to them-these are exactly as they were taken.

Just one peice of critiscm. I hope you dont mind. Try to get too locations more like the third, as there is no grass verge blocking the bottom half of the wheel.

That was one thing that annoyed me, unlike Wiscombe you are roped off a really long way away from the track so I was stuck with where I could get in nice and close. I'll certainly bear it in mind for next time.

Excellent panning work. Not as keen on the composition of 3 and 4. When I first viewed 1 and 2 I agreed with what Matt's said about chopping off the bottom of the wheels.

But viewing them again I think it's such a marginal element of the subject that's missing, and IMO it actually emphasises the narrowness/ technical difficulty of the hillclimb course. So I prefer the first two.

The MkI Escort is a 'nearly' shot for me, just wanted to show some from the start (the last batch) and the end of the day (the first post in the thread). Guess I did them back to front!

I'm off to the Fintray hillclimb next weekend - part of the Scottish championship - hope the weather's better than last year!
