not a great shot but I wondered what it was and it's gross so it had to go up!

Edit; I think it is anyway. But im no Entomologist so I might be completely wrong

Yes it looks too long in the body for a ladybird lavae.

I think tis ladybird larvae, It just looks disproportiantly long as you can't see how fat it was as it's side on. It was too high up to get a top view!
