My thinking exactly. I've seen a few of these on eBay, so don't want to get into a bidding war. Was wondering if anyone had one, had seen em elsewhere (often the case that something on ebay can be had elsewhere for less), or had any comments regarding it.

Grant shot some pinholes made out of a tin a while back, the angle of view was massive because obviously the tin was curved, and thus was the film.
More fisheye than panoramic probably, they were quite cool though, Flickr links are down as usual.

yes! well, not personally. HOWEVER!

during the A-level, the tutor ordered a pinhole camera that had a selection of "hole sizes" and film backs (to fit 35mm and 6x6). nice thing, made out of wood. we found that if you wearnt amazing at the technique that the shots didn't come out too great! but if your good at it, you can get some really pretty photos out of it!
