Anyone got the Epson 1400?

Been thinking of an A3 printer for a while now. This seems pretty good for the money at £240.

I'm aware of the small & expensive ink carts, tinting monos and possible issues with some shadow details.

Has anyone got one and can compare with anything else in it's range?

Hi, my mate has just bought one of these, and boy is it a cracker.
I did some prints on it and the colours were spot on
without even calabration.
I would definatly buy one myself when mine claps out.
The inks are pricey but if you want quality, you have to pay for it.
The printer is very quiet in operation.
Sorry i cannot offer much advice.

Yep I've got one & it's amazing - no problems with the image quality at all. Not too bad on ink either but yes, the cartridges are expensive but worth it. £240 is a pretty good price though - go buy it!
