Looks a touch expensive. The fast aperture should be useful and I do like using prime lenses.
Anyone got the new 35mm f1.8 Nikkor?

It's a great lens (I have one!) but the 35mm f/1.8 is arguably more useful on the D40/D60 as it's an AF-S lens.

I would love to see your reviews and images once you guys have the lens.
I haven't read too many reviews, but Digital SLR User Magazine report a lot of Chromatic Abberation, which as always doesn't sound very good!
It's still a good addition though, especially for those with the D40/x and D60.

I have a D40, so it's ideal for me.
I do have a 50mm f1.8 AF-D, which is easy enough to focus manually.
