Hi,

I have just acquired a manfrotto 443 Carbon One tripod. But I can't find anything about it on google searches or on eBay. Anyone know about them? I have yet to see it, my folks are collecting it tomorrow. Wondering if I got a good deal for £30?

Very little information about this tripod on the internet as you say which is odd, but manfrotto carbon fibre for £30 seems stupidly cheap to me, excellent deal if it's not too good to be true, but that seems unlikely if seller offered collection?

Have you got a head to put on it too? :)

Looks to have one...I have the guys address,,,my folks are going to collect tomorrow. He is also a friend of a friend, so legit as far as I can tell:

Well if it comes with that head, that's a 494RC2 ball head which is worth ~£40 new on it's own as well.

Assuming this is legit then (but I'm still finding that price hard to believe!), that is a ridiculously good deal you've got!

We shall find out tomorrow. The address checks out, and I have the guys number. I'll let you all know. :)
 
Basically it's a very nice CF tripod from about 10 years ago. Manfrotto seem to introduce new models quite regularly.

for £30 you've got a bargain
