Anyone tried the UK made Grey White Balance Colour Card?

My grey card is A4 size think its a Pattersons one

I just found this one online, did anyone tried it?

Is it reliable?

I don't recall hearing of this variant?

Certainly looks budget worthy when compared to the X-Rite Passport.......but is it a suitable alternative especially when used with with the DNG software to create DCP profiles of which I read about a few weeks ago???

Probably. But might not be. Some really cheap grey cards certainly aren't.

They're not exactly difficult to make - the cost is in the quality control, tight parameters and high reject rate. I guess that's part of what you're paying for with DataColor and X-Rite, which are what I use.

Pricey for what they are perhaps, but you know they're correct. If you look after them, they should last for many years. Not so bad if you think about it that way :)

Yes, but that's an old link. If you go to their main site you will find it available with lots of other cards too. Just google greywhitebalancecolourcard

I own the original X-rite colorchecker and ones from the link above. They do a great job when you consider the price, very little in it but the X-rite has the edge. Definitely worth buying if you don't have a spend budget. They do a handy credit card size one so I always have it on me. They are also made from a plastic material and can get wet without any issues.
