Anyone use grip with timer on?

I don't use a grip with a timer, but I do use the MC-36R remote, which is fantastic. :)

Why limit yourself to a remote you can only use with one body?

I use one without any problems ! Whats the question?

and what did you get?

I bought the Canon grip from Kerso (best price and good service), only had it yesterday but it feels just spot on, I cant compare because I havent seen the others but TBH I have no regrets about spending the extra for this one. Apart from feeling soild and comfortable, I know its got the same waterproofing at the rest of the camera.
Cheers Chaz, let me know what you decide

As far as I know Canon dont do a grip with a timer but will stand corected if they do. I did consider the Link timer one but on reflection I caouldnt see that in my case it would be of any use, but naturally, everyone's requirements are different.

Kerso charged £135.00 plus £9.00 postage for the original Canon BG-E7 grip, this was by far the best price I could find for an original one, but I know his prices do vary depending on exchange rates etc.

'Happy Sales UK' through 'Amazon', £69.95 including postage for 7D, no timer, works for me, looks and feel just like the real thing which I have for my 5D,
Jim
