Anyone used a Sigma 15-30 on a 5D?

I'm assuming you mean 3.5-4.5 DG EX Asperical IF? If so, I have, I found it quite good apart from the method of switching to manual focus. Havent really used it much as I'm not a great fan of very wide shots and I partly bought it to sit on my wife's 50D and/or my 1D. Its a big old lump of a lens and a little slow to both focus and in terms of max aperture. Since then I have bought a 24/70 2.8 Canon lens which is now my favourite lens so the 15/30 hasnt been out much, it was a lot less expensive but well worth the money. The push on filter and hood do tend to vignette a full frame sensor though, so generally I use without filter until past 24mm
