No
S95 pro's being a true compact

Olympus XZ-1, lower aperture at either end of zoom with greater focal length.
Not sure on having a lens cap for a compact though

No doubt the S95 is a great little camera, but the fact you can fit the VF-2 EVF to the Oly would swing it for me....

lost me there

just looking for a good compact type when dslr isn't with us

mainly toddler and baby, family shots.

i have a sony waterproof compact but want something better

I use the S90 and think its great. Do you want to know anything specific?

General likes and dislikes really

Likes - Pocket-ability, manual control and being able to shoot raw.
Dislike - No viewfinder (but it's a trade off I can live with for the size)

I've had an S95 for just over a year now.

Likes: Size -easily fits in shirt pocket, f2.0 lens is great, with IS you can take pictures in almost any light without flash, you can use the wheel on the back to dial in exposure compenstion "on the fly" and have a live histogram showing what's going on, ability to shoot RAW and jpeg

Dislikes: Battery life is around 200 shots - carry a spare, flash pops up under your fingers - still get caught out by this but usually have the flash disabled, time lapse video mode uses silly "tilt shift" effect.

There is an S95 group on Flickr with some amazing images.

Get one quick before they all dissapear.

The s95 is truly compact, jeans or trouser pocket compact.

This is only true if you don't use the case (the leather case provided by Canon when I bought mine). Great camera, although I do find it just too small to use for much more than the occassional shot.

the s95 is absolutely awesome.
I have nothing bad to say about it other than when you switch the flash off watch your fingers as it has a habit of catching a bit of finger skin and pinching... thats the only down side to the camera.

It fits in the pocket perfectly and i was even able to use it in minus 24 degree during a snow storm on a mountain in norway with my gloves on.

The on board effects are pretty good as well if you like having a mess about with the images. Plus it does braketted shots for hdr, full manual control with ability for manual focussing as well as various flash effects. Ive never liked a compact camera as much as this one.

Im going to use it on a model shoot soon just to see how versatile it is. :)

decided on the better lens over size, so posted on wanted section olympus xz-1
