and if you are are what brand/type and are you having any problems?

I'm looking for and after the experience with the kingstons I'm wanting to make sure I don't buy wrong again, thanks :)

8 GB Sandisk Extreme III - No problems at all. Plenty fast enough and I didn't think it was worth going to Extreme IV's. I haven't tried 16 GB of any make yet.

Surprised you had problems with Kingston's? I must have missed that. They have a decent reputation for computer memory.

cheers

i'm currently using extreme 3 16GB CF and 16GB SDHC with no problems on my 1dsmk3

thanks guys, thought that might be the response :)

Bill, it was the 133X elite pro from Kingston, kept getting corrupt images on the MkIII but works fine on the MkII  I wasn't the only one either

I use an 8Gb IV and 16Gb Sandisk III's in mine without any issues so far.

loving your sig

^^^ Thanks for the info. Weird one though, but I'll avoid. I can remember a problem with Lexar cards going back to the 20D days and I've used Sandisk ever since.

I use a MK3 and have a Sandisk 8GB extreme 3 compact flash and sd cards in it all the time. Never had any problems.
