Anyone using Skydrive as online backup

I have been looking at free online backups and have been uploading files to the windows live Skydrive
The problem is that it reduces the files to 399 by 600 pixels even though I clicked on the option to upload origanal size

Has anyone found a way round this?

Are there any other free options that are worth using?

I have uploaded a lot of jpegs to Dropbox which is excellent and easy to use but only the first 2GB is free

I think I uploaded some to 'Office' rather than 'Photos' and it kept the original size

I just want to backup about 5Gb max worth of Jpegs as an insurance I do already already backup onto hard drive
Our broadband connection is not that fast , did the speed test it was 2.86 Mb/s so would take too long to backup raw files got 300BG of those

Yep that's it, I've just tried it.

Photos folder = 600px

Office folder = original size.
 
Have uploaded some and then down loaded the files back onto my PC
Then checked with properties and the files are origanal size thats brillaint:):)
