Anyone using TTG Pages/Lightroom to build website?

Just been messing with the demo of this

Which works within LR - seems to allow you to build a complete website from within Lightroom including paypal cart etc

Just wondering if anyone here is using it, and how it compares to other options such as Wordpress. I would like to be able to add a blog mainly for SEO, but I'm not sure if this is possible with the TTG template.

Any advice much appreciated.

I was wondering about whether I could add a blog, which I see you have done. I gather it is good for SEO. You are using wordpress for the blog?

Yup, I'm using Wordpress with the intention that each new shoot that goes onto the gallery will have a write-up along wth a small image that links to the gallery page.

The TTG stuff can be a bit confusing but it's worth wading through the scraps of documentation as I think the gallery looks quite good in the end. Some people are using the Highslide gallery but I'm happy with the HTML one.

I'm also using the Fotomoto script to allow commerce for what good it will do me!
 
I've gone right over to WP now, I find it much easier to maintain the galleries. :thumbs:
Still using the fotomoto script by way of the plugin.
 
Thanks, I am beginning to think I might just use WP too. I would like to add a cart system but was wondering about using paypal, mainly because I am already familiar with it.
 
The Atahualpa theme allows you to have your site exactly how you want it. :)
Fotomoto apparently stopped using Paypal but users are pressing for it again.
Here for example.

WP isn't quite as hip as TTG galleries, but there are far fewer headaches! :D
