Aperture 3; Import issues

Aperture 3 is uploading my files in a haphazard manner from my card reader.

My equipment is a Canon 7D, Sandisk Extreme III card and macbook.

I want the upload to be in sequential file number .

can anybody help.

Can you be a bit more specific? Is this only when they are uploading or when they have uploaded and you view them in aperture in the folder?

I have the same problem its when the files are uploaded, sometimes the photos are displayed in the browser sequentially and at other times they are completely random. Dont know the reason why but it is a bit annoying

You can sort them into any order you want after they are uploaded...

I did find that after upgrading to Aperture 3, that this defaulted to a different setting.

MMM it was defaulted to that but I just reclicked them and all fell in line many thanks

Thanks I have also just upgraded and it had defaulted to manual.

Glad to help guys.

Annoyingly, what I've also found is that when you create a new project/folder, it will default to manual every time.

Does make you wonder what Apple are up to...
