Aperture 3 referenced files

Installed Aperture 3 last night, and all has gone well apart from that fact that for some reason in aperture 2, a few of the last imports defaulted to a different drive to my main one.

I want to move these files to my main photo drive, so my question is:

How can I relocate the files from their current location to my photo drive through Aperture (which manages my files)?

Is it a case or reconnecting them to their current location, then doing something within Aperture to relocate the files to the drive where I want them to be? If so. is that easy enough to do?

Cheers in advance, I was pulling my hair out til I found the files, as I need them for work that I am using for my new portfolio.

Other than that seems fine so far, fingers tightly crossed!

Move the files, then go into aperture and sellect them all and right click. There's an option for "manage reference files" or something like that. You can use that dialog to find the files again and re-connect them to the edits.

Managed to sort it out.

Selected all images, right click, reconnect, then when all done, go to consolidate library and make sure choose move rather than copy, otherwise will leave excess copy of pics on your drives.

Cheers for your help Pete, your ost got me on the right track. In the words of Gordon Ramsey. Aperture 3 Install.....................DONE!

Glad you sorted Carl & see you decided to go to Aperture 3 in the end. Seems with the latest upgrades to have settled down. I'll wait until LR3 comes out to see if I'll re-install it. Good luck with it.
