Most of my Emails are routed through my Web host linked to my domain (****@lesmclean.co.uk)
Up till recently, whenever I ran an Email trace via Cpanel, I could see any dodgy Emails were filtered by Spam Assassin and blocked/rejected, or if any did get through to my inbox, I could manually blacklist them.
A couple of days ago, when I ran an Email trace, I noticed far more were being blocked by being listed as spam by spamhaus or spamcop, with results looking like this:-
And the more familiar spam E-mails (like f_r_a_u_d.aexp.com), hmrc, barclays etc are all being blocked by spamhaus or spamcop rather than being filtered by spam assassin or myself.
I don't know much about the mechanism for managing spam, but it does look as ISP/Web hosters are taking a more aggressive stance against spammers, or is it business as usual, with a slightly different approach?
