Yes
Just spent 20 minutes trying to fold up a hilite WITH the instructions and causing near catastrophic destruction nearly knocking over 2 studio lights and a tripod. I had enough problems with FITP's softboxes, this hilite is ridiculous.

:'(

... and it is still not folded up !

Lmao

If its like the fold away b/g I have its easy.. " But then you saw that today" Lol

Did you undo all the zips? I didn't the first time I tried to put mine down and could not manage it. After undoing all the zips it was no problem!

Arrrr, no mention of that in the destructions.....

and I quote....

16. To fold, stand at one corner and grip the two outer rims as far down each edge as you can so the Hilite forms a diamond shape in front of you. Whilst still holding the rims firmly, lift your hands and bring them together in a similar motion to closing a book. The hilite will form a crisp shape.

17. As your hands get closer together the opposite corner to where you are standing will start to curl under towards your feet. As you continue the motion of closing a book pass one hand over the other. The HiLite will automatically fold to form three circles. Bring the three circular shape together expelling any trapped air and return the Hilite to the carry case

16. To fold, stand at one corner and grip the two outer rims as far down each edge as you can so the Hilite forms a diamond shape in front of you. Whilte still holding the rims firmly, lift your hands and bring them together at which point the other end will flick randomly to one side and knock over one of your studio lights. Move the studio light and try again. This time it will flick the over way and knock over another studio light. Remove all studio lights, tripods and other items and try again. This time it will not work and one corner will be folded over and not return to its original position.

17. Go and drink some beer and slag off Lastolite.

I struggled the first couple of times, becomes so much easier with time, as Pauls says wedge it into a corner, makes things so much easier!

Ohhh and undo the zips ;)

Doesn't help when you're sweating like a pig and fraustrated to hell!

Just watched this and nearly fell off the chair laughing, can you fold a mattress up that easy

Have a look at Mark Cleghorns demo. lol

Otherwise known as doing the Macarena!

I once dragged mine out of a clients house swearing under my breath and stuffed it in the back of the 4x4. Dragged it back out at home and it was surrounded by the family and beaten into submission. Has not been out again since, we were all so mentally scarred by the experience.

Its in the bag. Using a combination of the settee (read corner of studio) and the Lastolite instructions.....

Blooming hell. I am going to have to do this twice a day every day for a month so I can do it when I need to.....

Dave,

I am sure the background would be easier the the hilite :D

But seriously thanks for today matey. Really very useful input on white backgrounds :)

And I really appreciate your putting yourself out like that to help me
