Are Photoshop and PS Elements shortcut keys the same?

As the title says really.

Am just looking to dip my toe in the waters of PP using Photoshop Elements 9. Have seen the keyboard overlays with Photoshop CS2/CS3 shortcuts on and they seem quite handy bits of kit, so was just wondering if any/all are the same in elements.
 
Some are but some don't work in Elements.

A couple of months ago, Practical Photography had a monitor top display thing of the shortcuts and which did and didn't work in PSE.

Best thing to do would be to try the ones you're used to using and see which work in PSE for you.
 
That's the thing, I'm not used to using anything really. I think I've put less than half a dozen photo's through Photoshop Elements (v4 rings a bell) when I had my old iBook and the last one I can recall would be almost 4 years ago. :lol:
