Hi all, trawled through my old shots for stuff to contribute. Call it a bit of a highlight reel to send off my DSLR days, I guess. These are all from a while back – I’d stopped taking photos for a few years, until now (or the near future, anyway).

Changeable lizard, Calotes versicolor. Singapore.
Changeable Lizard, Jurong Lakeside Gardens 20.06.19-136.jpg

Yellow bittern, Ixobrychus sinensis. Singapore.
Yellow Bittern 2, Singapore Botanical Gardens 08.02.19.jpg

Striated heron, Butorides striata. Singapore.
Litle Heron, Japanese Garden.jpg

Grey heron, Ardea cinerea. Singapore. This particular individual had learned that people throwing bread from the bridge in this park = fish buffet.
Grey Heron 3, Japanese Garden.jpg

Common guillemot, Uria aalge. Isle of May, Scotland.
Isle of May 01.07.15-569.jpg

Atlantic puffin, Fratercula arctica. Isle of May, Scotland.
Isle of May 01.07.15-529.jpg

White-throated dipper, Cinclus cinclus. Edinburgh, Scotland.
Blackford Hill 27.09.14-088.jpg

Red grouse, Lagopus lagopus scotica. Yorkshire Dales, England.
Yorkshire Dales 31.03.17-11.04.17-2746.jpg
Yorkshire Dales 31.03.17-11.04.17-2517.jpg

Mountain hare, Lepus timidus. Scottish Highlands, Scotland. I’m not sure how well it came through, but this was in the middle of a blizzard, as visibility was rapidly dwindling.
Scottish Highlands 03.01.18-05.01.18-342.jpg

Mountain hare in winter coat. Scottish Highlands, Scotland.
Scottish Highlands 03.01.18-05.01.18-591.jpg

Rock ptarmigan, Lagopus muta. Scottish Highlands, Scotland. I wanted the skier in the shot, but in hindsight, I should’ve framed to exclude their orange jacket.
Scottish Highlands 03.01.18-05.01.18-182.jpg

Osprey, Pandion haliaetus. Scottish Highlands, Scotland. Maybe the luckiest shots of my life, though in hindsight it’s a bit of a formulaic scene.
Cairngorms 22.05.17-26.05.17-314.jpg

Thanks for checking these out. I’ll soon be choosing a mirrorless kit, then hopefully it’s back into the game.
