Audio editing

Anyone here use the Audacity software for editing audio. I have a sound recording of a live music show which I have edited down from two hours to one, but it is just one file. I'm being asked if I can split the tracks up, anyone here that can advise.

Audacity can do that, load the sound file, select the track then export the selected bit, if I recall correctly.

If it is for the purpose of creating a CD, you can also just add track markers to denote where each song begins. I'd be suprised if Audacity doesn't allow this. Otherwise Ken's method is spot on.
