Two autumn views of what has to be the least known palace in England. It's tucked away in the suburbs of the London borough of Greenwich.

very nice! love the top shot! Looks like HDR but I don't think it is, is it?

Like the first shot. Really must get round to visiting the palace, I only live a 5 minute walk away lol

The first one works really well, I like the autumnal greens, reds, and browns in the image. The wooden bridge leading through the right-hand side is very good also.

Used to live just round the corner from there and visited regularly as a kid. Did you know that once the Royal hunting 'rides' went uninterrupted from there all the way to Hampton Court and the parks of Hampton Ct, Richmond, Bushy, Burgess Park, Kennington Park, Greenwich Park, Clapham Wandsworth and Wimbledon Commons are the vestiges of them?
All in the time of Henry VIII, who lived at Eltham Palace until he was about 16 years old.
