Autumn colours Northwest England

Every year I think about, but never follow through with trying to get that perfect autumn picture with all the leaves showing off the different colours, looking at attempting to capture one again this year, anyone got any good sugestions in and around northwest, I am based in Warrington so some where near to me would be good, looking at colours being reflected into still water, any ideas welcome or better still your pictures.

In Hyde personally, so East Manchester but try quarry bank mill near theairport - no still water but a great walk through the grounds following a meandering river and some stunning colours of autumn. It's NT so you'll pay for parking.

Clock Face Country Park, Pennington Flash, Wigan Flashes, Risley Moss. The Trans Pennine Trail runs right through Warrington, over to Lymm? plenty of opportunity there.
