very nice set lammie got some when I went in March haven t posted any yet mine were more of a crop though,but they had so many rings on them in different colours and it spoilt it for me why do they put on so many

They are lovely shots - 2nd one for me, as the others have said, the rings do somewhat spoil the look of the bird. Something happening more and more, annoyingly.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I agree with you about the rings don't see the need for some to have as many as 5 or 6 on and quite a lot of them had them. There didn't seem as many Avocets about at Titchwell this year as there was last year, maybe due to the work that has been going on, and they weren't close enough to get decent shots so I went to the next village of Thornham and took all of these in the channels that led out to the sea.
