hi my little boy is 14 months now and is running around the place i am doing a photography course at colege and would be very greatful if anyone could give me some tips on taking good baby photos

get the child in the frame../ get the child sharp.. / try to get them looking at you.. /

to be honest mate this is a of a random question..

1. do you want a studio type shot.
2. do you want a outdoor shot.
3. do you want a natural light shot.
4 . the list is endless..


sorry to sound off i dont mean to be . but there are so many ways to shoot kids that look great its hard to say one or two..

the only tip i can offer, and it's an invalueble one, get down low, snap him/her from below eye level, perspective is much better.
 
One thing i noticed when i photographed my little cousin, is that if the eyes are in focus and are perfectly sharp the image looks a million times better. So concentrate on the eyes being the key part of the image.
I supose its the same with most portrait photography, but i think its especially important with babies/todlers
