W WN2010 Messages 43 Edit My Images No 16 Feb 2012 #1 Hi folks, back-up hardrive - I currently have a 500GB maxtor basics - it is nearly full. I never had any problems with the maxtor basics, but I don't think they do them models now. What do you guys reckon is a good back-up hardrive to go for?

I am considering a firewire connection as I plan to export my itunes collection to it and have read somewhere that USB can cause stuttering. So taking a 'piggy-back' on your thread, if thats ok - any thoughts anyone?

Going to give it a go as I already have an unopened 2nd 1Tb USB HD. Not a problem for piccies but will let you know if I have any problems
