Backpack for Sigma 120-300

[PINNACLE]

I got one of these lenses last week for football and wildlife with TC but I don't have a bag big enough.

Ideal would be able to take 1D MKiv with 120-300 mounted and enough room for another gripped body, 70-200f2.8 or 300mmf4 and two TCs. Waterproof as much as possible and as small as possible but also able to get the kit in.

Lowepro flipside looks interesting but is the Sport 15L big enough. The 20L should work and the 400 might be too big.

Is there anything else I should look at?

I don't think the Flipside 400 would be too big I know the lens hoods on the 120-300 are big and not sure the 400 is deep enough without creating a hump that digs in your back? a Flipside 500 might be better?

I just purchased a 500 and surprised it wasn't that much bigger than a 400 only slightly longer main difference is the depth.

I use a Flipside 400 with my 7D with lens attached and at a squeeze, with a 2X bolted on as well.

I think I might have to take a drive out to Park cameras and take my kit to try. I really want the smallest bag I can get away with.

I went to Park Cameras today and they were so helpful. I tried the 400, 20lSport and a few others and the 500 which I bought. I know I could have got it a lot cheaper by internet but I was happy to pay shop price just because they were so good and everything I could wish for in a shop. Space, contact, no hard sell, knowledge, time and a chance to try. Bl00dy tempting to buy more stuff as so well laid out. Top marks Park Cameras

The 400 and 20L were very similar in size but a bit of a squeeze for anything other than the 120-300mm plus skinny things.

My new Lowepro Flipside 500 AW now has a 120-300mm Sport mounted to a Canon 1DMiv, a Gripped 7D below it, a 70-200f2.8ii to one side and a 300mmf4 with 24-105mm on the other side, a x1.4 and x2TC shoved in, a few filters, 2 spare batteries, a remote or two, memory cards and it is very full. Oh and heavy.

Good on you for buying it from them. Too many people use shops as showrooms for the internet and they are killing the high street specialists who can't compete with the box shifters on price but who are invaluable for advice and bits that you need NOW, not when the postie can deliver them.
